Valencia, October 8, 2024 – In a context where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a fundamental engine for innovation and competitiveness in all professional sectors, ValgrAI has successfully coordinated the processing of grants exceeding €50,000, aimed at promoting AI training among professional colleges, business associations, and professional associations. This initiative has been made possible thanks to the support of the five public Valencian universities and professionals from the private sector, who contribute their expert knowledge to the teaching of the courses.
The grants, which aim to enhance the AI skills of professionals, have been awarded to various organizations, including the Colegio Oficial de Economistas de Valencia (COEV), the Colegio Oficial de Titulares Mercantiles y Empresariales, the Asociación de Periodistas Profesionales Valencianos (APPV), the Unió de Periodistes, the Colegio Oficial de Graduados e Ingenieros Técnicos Industriales (COGITI Valencia), the Confederación de Comerciantes y Autónomos de la Comunidad Valenciana (CONFECOMEÇ), and the Federación Empresarial de Hostelería de Valencia (FEHV).
These organizations are taking advantage of the grants to offer their members training tailored to the current needs of the labor market, where knowledge of AI has become indispensable. The wide variety of courses, ranging from basic concepts to advanced applications in specific sectors, aims to facilitate the adaptation and specialization of professionals in this constantly evolving area.
A Varied and Specialized Training Offer
The courses and sessions, which are taking place between September and October, offer a wide variety of contents and formats. With durations ranging from 4 to 50 hours, these trainings are designed both for those seeking an introduction to Artificial Intelligence and for those who wish to delve into specific AI applications in their respective fields.
ValgrAI has managed the collaboration with highly qualified teaching staff, consisting of AI experts from the five public Valencian universities and professionals from the private sector. This combination ensures quality training that covers both theoretical fundamentals and the most advanced practical applications.
Understanding the diversity of needs and availability of professionals, the training offer includes online, face-to-face, and hybrid courses. This flexibility has contributed to the great acceptance of the trainings, to the point that some of the courses have had to create waiting lists due to high demand.
The great reception of these training actions reflects the interest and increasing need of professionals from different sectors to acquire knowledge and skills in Artificial Intelligence. This demand is a reflection of the increasingly relevant role that AI plays in improving processes, decision making, and creating new business opportunities.
