This initiative, held at the Casa de los Caracoles in Castellón, is part of the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Alliance.

ValgrAI organized the II AI Innovation Day in Castellón with the aim of disseminating research and success stories occurring in the field of digital twins and their application to business.

The event highlighted the transformative potential of this technology, which allows for the creation of virtual representations of physical objects, processes, and systems in real time. During the event, its applications in sectors such as tourism, hospitality, and infrastructure management were analyzed.

In this regard, Jose Solá from AIJU presented the NEXTGEN TRAVEL 4.0 project, which combines digital twins, artificial intelligence, and IoT to optimize the traveler’s experience and sustainable management of tourist destinations. Meanwhile, Sergio Esparcia offered an introductory view of digital twins, highlighting their evolution and applications in key sectors.

One of the most innovative case studies was presented under the title “Digital Twins in Hospitality Services,” where Ismael Sanz from Universitat Jaume I showcased a digital twin model applied to hotel management in Benicàssim. Thanks to temperature, humidity, and activity sensors, as well as predictive data from AEMET, an optimization in operational and energy management of the facilities has been achieved.

Patrici Calvo from Universitat Jaume I, in his lecture “The Smart Company: Ethical Challenges for Corporate AI,” addressed the ethical and strategic challenges that companies face in the era of artificial intelligence. Through a deep analysis, he highlighted key aspects such as responsibility in automated decision-making, sustainability in the use of digital resources, and the need for ethical governance to ensure transparency and fairness in AI-based systems.

Furthermore, Nicolas Manero from Cuatroochenta discussed the role of autonomous AI agents, highlighting them as an alternative to overcome the limitations of large-scale language models. His presentation analyzed how these agents improve reliability in decision-making and reduce errors through iterative processes and the integration of external tools.

The event also served as a platform for the presentation of EVA – Event Virtual Assistant, a WhatsApp-based virtual assistant that optimizes communication at events and the digitization of administrative tasks through artificial intelligence.

Montse Labiaga, Founder of Fotografía eCommerce and AI Expert, delved into the multiple applications that AI offers for eCommerce photography, emphasizing that it does not replace the human factor but rather reduces production costs.

With significant attendance from professionals in the technology and academic sectors, the II AI Innovation Day solidified its role as a benchmark in the dissemination of disruptive technologies, reaffirming ValgrAI’s commitment to innovation and technological development in the Comunitat Valenciana.
