ValgrAI is committed to fostering cutting-edge research in Artificial Intelligence and related disciplines within the Valencian Community. Our mission is to support and nurture talented researchers at various stages of their academic careers, contributing to the advancement of AI knowledge and its applications.

Predoctoral and Postdoctoral Grants

We offer two types of research grants to support the AI ecosystem in the Valencian Community:

  1. Predoctoral Grants: These grants are designed for students pursuing their doctoral studies in AI-related fields. They provide financial support for up to four years, allowing researchers to focus on their innovative projects and contribute to the growing body of AI knowledge.
  2. Postdoctoral Grants: Aimed at recent PhD graduates, these grants support early-career researchers in continuing their work in AI. They offer the opportunity to develop independent research projects and establish themselves in the field.

Our grants cover a wide range of AI-related areas, including but not limited to machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics, and ethical AI. We encourage interdisciplinary approaches that push the boundaries of AI research and its applications.

Impact and Expectations

Recipients of ValgrAI grants are expected to:

  • Conduct high-quality research that contributes significantly to the field of AI
  • Collaborate with other researchers and institutions within the Valencian Community
  • Participate in academic conferences and publish their findings in reputable journals
  • Engage in knowledge transfer activities to bridge the gap between academia and industry

Through these grants, ValgrAI aims to position the Valencian Community as a hub for AI innovation and excellence, attracting and retaining top talent in the field.
