PREDICARE: Hospital Risk Calculation

This tool allows for the calculation of the risk of a hospitalized patient using an AI model trained with information from hospitalized patients, tagged by an expert team of nurses. The tool eliminates the need to gather information from multiple factors of assessment scales commonly used in different hospital services, so that with very few factors, assessed by nursing staff, the overall risk of the patient can be determined. Currently, there is no nursing scale with these characteristics that assesses this type of aggregated risk. The information provided by this tool is very useful both for improving the quality and effectiveness of nursing care and for hospital management itself, as it allows for the appropriate allocation of resources based on the severity of the patient.

Its target audience includes public and private hospitals, and healthcare assistance companies such as elderly care homes or long-term care facilities.
