AI applied to Cybersecurity
Cyberattacks have significantly increased in recent years, targeting both companies and organizations. At VRAIN from UPV, work is being done on the use of artificial intelligence techniques and the generation of visual traffic reports from the computers within a network. This allows the network administrator to quickly and easily initiate the server protection protocol in the event of a possible attack. These systems are based on the use of neural networks and case-based reasoning to process information, agent technologies for distributed system management, and real-time technologies to ensure a response within a defined maximum time frame. Limiting the deliberative processes within the intrusion detection system is a very positive advancement, as it allows security personnel to know the maximum time interval within which a response will be obtained.
