It combines artificial intelligence techniques and data mining to automatically group and categorize thousands of scientific articles, and it presents the topics of a research area and its trends. AKABAT performs a thorough analysis to identify the most important and prominent areas using one or more CSV files that contain the title of the scientific articles, keywords, and the year of publication.

All this information is stored in a database specifically designed for the application. In this way, it enables the generation of diagrams and statistical charts that assist the user and can be used to support the state of the art and systematic reviews of the literature.
