ValencianTech’26
Following the success of its March edition, the 2026 ValencianTech International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Optimization Algorithms returns on 19-20 November 2026 at the CPI Building (Yellow Cube) of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV).
Supported by Generalitat Valenciana (CIAORG/2026/019) and the EURO Working Group on Business Analytics and AI Interfaces, the workshop is coordinated by the ICSO Meta research group (CIAICO/2024/117), part of CIGIP, together with the Valencian Graduate School and Research Network of Artificial Intelligence (ValgrAI). Several thematic tracks are co-organised in collaboration with leading academic, institutional and industry partners, including the Decision Science Alliance (DSA), Conselleria de Sanitat GVA, UNIE Universidad, Centro Español de Logística, Divina Seguros, Esade Business School, Foro de Ingeniería del Transporte, Math Biology, and ICSO Analytics.
This second edition will showcase the latest advances in applied research, artificial intelligence, analytics and technology transfer, with dedicated sessions across three strategic sectors:
- Healthcare (19 November)
- Transportation, Logistics & Mobility (20 November)
- Business Analytics & Marketing (20 November)
The programme will explore topics such as:
- Artificial Intelligence: integration of Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions to accelerate digital transformation.
- Business Analytics: predictive modelling, advanced data analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Industrial Optimisation: metaheuristic and optimisation algorithms for improving efficiency in complex systems.
- Mathematics & Computing: theoretical and computational foundations supporting AI, analytics and optimisation techniques.
The workshop is aimed at researchers, industry practitioners, managers, PhD candidates and innovation professionals working in computational engineering, artificial intelligence, industrial mathematics, data science and optimisation. Beyond scientific exchange, the event offers an excellent opportunity to build public-private partnerships, expand professional networks, discover emerging research trends and foster collaboration between academia and industry.
Authors of the best works presented at ValencianTech’26, as selected by the Scientific Committee, will be invited to submit a full paper (with a full waiver proposal), to one of the following Special Issues in open-access journals: “Data Analytics, Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence in Transport, Finance and Healthcare” in Algorithms (JCR IF = 2.1, Q2; Scopus CiteScore = 4.5, Q1), and “Intelligent Algorithms Hybridizing Optimization, Machine Learning, and Simulation: Methods and Applications” in Mathematics (JCR IF = 2.2, Q1; Scopus CiteScore = 4.6, Q1).
