Valencia, July 24, 2024 – The College of Economists of Valencia (COEV) and ValgrAI have forged an alliance to enhance the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the economic field. This collaboration not only promotes the integration of AI into COEV’s activities but also promises direct benefits to its members.
The agreement, signed by Juan José Enríquez Barbé, Dean President of COEV, and Ana Cidad Vila, Managing Director of ValgrAI, establishes a broad cooperation framework. This includes promoting AI projects, organizing courses, seminars, continuing education programs, and research stays.
One of the most notable aspects of the agreement is COEV’s inclusion in the Artificial Intelligence Innovation Alliance (AIIA). This community, created by ValgrAI, brings together researchers, students, and professionals interested in AI, facilitating COEV members’ access to collaboration networks and specialized events.
Additionally, COEV members will benefit from discounts on training activities promoted by ValgrAI, reinforcing both entities’ commitment to continuous education and professional development of economists in the AI field.
The agreement also contemplates the creation of a Joint Coordination Committee, comprising representatives from both entities, responsible for developing and coordinating specific actions derived from the framework agreement. This committee will formulate action proposals and ensure that joint initiatives are effectively implemented.
In short, this agreement represents a significant advance in the integration of artificial intelligence in the economic field, boosting innovation and the professional development of Valencian economists.
