This conference, to be held at the UPV on 2 and 3 July, will feature presentations by Virginia Dignum (Umeå University), Hiroaki Kitano (Sony Group Corporation), and José Mª Azorín (Miguel Hernández University).
One of the major highlights of VSCF 2026 will be the participation of leading international figures who will deliver the keynote speeches. Among them is Virginia Dignum (Umeå University), recognised worldwide for her work on the ethics of artificial intelligence, who will address the challenges of building a responsible technological future; José María Azorín (Miguel Hernández University), a leading figure in neurotechnology, who will present advances in brain-machine interfaces applied to rehabilitation; and Hiroaki Kitano, Chief Technology Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Sony Group Corporation, who will offer a unique insight into how artificial intelligence is transforming scientific research globally. These presentations will place the forum at the heart of the international debate on the future of AI.
